THU 21/05/26: New Single – Invisible Chains

I’m pleased to announce that the second Gladwell single has been released!

‘Invisible Chains’ is both beautiful and powerful, a deeply personal song from the perspective of Lizzie’s mum.

“One by one,
the threads connecting her to us
were cut.
Cleanly.
Deliberately.
As though love were something
that could be severed.”

Listen on YouTube on the link here. Available on Spotify, iTunes, YouTube Music, Amazon Music etc.

Lizzie Gladwell, a vulnerable young person with a formal diagnosis of FASD, was taken by predatory removal just one day after her eighteenth birthday. She was then systematically isolated, cut off from everyone who knew and loved her, by means of coercive and controlling behaviour. Individuals with FASD are known to be extremely susceptible to manipulation. The local agencies tasked with safeguarding have only exacerbated Lizzie’s comprehensive isolation and the consequent harm.

“Isolating her from her family is abuse. Enough.” (HM Government, VAWG Campaign 2025)
