SAT 28/06/25: Allegations and Isolation
Meeting With Focus Adult Social Work
On Friday June 27th 2025, the scheduled meeting at Focus Adult Social Work took place. I believe it went well, and I am grateful to Focus for the opportunity to meet and discuss important issues. I thank my solicitor and the legal representatives of Focus for their professionalism.
I also acknowledge that, in the weeks leading up to the meeting, I revealed aspects of our pre-meeting exchanges that, in retrospect, were neither appropriate nor helpful. In a spirit of constructive cordiality, I intend to review previous blog posts and amend any parts where my commitment to transparency may have clashed with what is truly helpful, or where opinions may have been stated with undue certainty. Specifically, regarding the disclosure of pre-meeting exchanges, I sincerely apologise to Focus for any frustration caused.
Linkage College Appeal Report Outcome
Everything hinges on what happened on 20th July 2023, Lizzie’s eighteenth birthday. She and I were enjoying a beautiful day in York together.
Each report from Linkage College identifies the same startling detail: on that day, while Lizzie was with me and absent from college, staff were made aware that Lewis and Coral were taking Lizzie to live with them. This aligns with what Lewis had boasted in class two weeks earlier. Who informed the staff? It couldn’t have been Lizzie – she wasn’t there. Logically, it must have been Lewis.
Could Linkage check any of this with Lizzie? No they couldn’t. She was not present.
What might Linkage have done? They could have informed Jane, Lizzie’s mother; that would have been a helpful and responsible action. However, according to the latest report, they didn’t. The reason given? Lizzie had turned eighteen that day, and under their interpretation, they needed her consent as an adult to contact us. So, they didn’t contact us at all.
Consider that Linkage is a special needs college where students can remain until the age of 25. Based on this, what percentage of students at Linkage are likely to be aged 18 or over? Your guess is as good as mine, but statistically, I would expect most students to be over 18. Yet, every single one of them has special needs – be they physical or mental – an array of diagnoses and learning difficulties. It is an environment where, for the sake of student safety, chronological age must be balanced with functional age.
For such a specialist learning centre to adopt an approach where it’s no longer considered necessary to contact parents in the event of safeguarding concerns simply because an individual is eighteen completely defies logic. If this is indeed the approach taken by Linkage, then any student aged eighteen or over is at risk of being groomed and removed by predatory means, just like Lizzie.
The justification that “Lizzie was eighteen and absent” not only fails the common-sense test but also makes Linkage seem like an unsafe environment for vulnerable young adults. Safeguarding experts I’ve consulted are astonished – and disbelieving – that Linkage would genuinely take such an approach. Frankly, I don’t believe it either.
Moreover, the news from Lewis actually caused Linkage genuine concern. A previous report stated that Linkage “escalated” the matter to Social Services. The most recent report indicates that Linkage “discussed concerns with Adult Social Care team”.
Concerns. Escalated. Yet not a word to us, Lizzie’s parents.
Why would Linkage be concerned enough to contact Adult Social Care, but not the parents?
There is only one plausible explanation: that Linkage were told something which, under safeguarding protocols, precluded them from contacting us.
In other words, an allegation.
This is the only scenario that aligns with the unyielding blocks of evidence. If Lewis ‘revealed’ some hideous allegation against Jane and me, that would explain why Linkage would not contact us but would contact Adult Social Care. Do you follow my reasoning?
You see, it wouldn’t make sense if Lewis had simply said, “Hey, tomorrow, Lizzie’s coming to live with us”. In that scenario, why would Linkage contact Adult Social Care at all? They would surely just wait until the next day to ask Lizzie herself, with no drama.
For the matter to be “escalated” on July 20th, for there to be “concerns” that warranted a call to Adult Social Care, there had to be something significant and serious. And it came from Lewis. This would make him the source of allegations that have persisted throughout this entire crisis – allegations that led to Linkage College giving the green light to proceed with the planned removal the next day, allegations that caused the statutory agencies to do everything in their power to separate us from our daughter, keeping her out of reach.
Thanks to the Humberside Police Subject Access Request, which they were compelled to reveal by the Information Commissioner’s Office, we now finally know what those allegations are. They are hideous, and they are untrue.
According to Humberside Police’s own records, I am “under investigation for rape” of my own daughter. There’s more in the SAR document, but that line alone gives you the measure of what we are facing. And where did those allegations originate?
You may recall (episode 10 – True Colours) that Coral made a public Facebook post, stating that “the gloves are officially off” and that I should “start sweating at what was coming“. That posting was made on the very same day the allegations were made to Humberside Police on 8th November 2023.
So, where did the allegations come from?
To Linkage, they came from Lewis.
To Humberside Police, they came from Coral.
And those allegations have not once been tested. Indeed, not one person across the entire system even had the courtesy to inform me that I am, apparently, under investigation for rape.
You’d think I’d know if I was under investigation, wouldn’t you?
Two years after Lizzie’s removal, bit by bit, the truth is starting to emerge, and the missing pieces of the jigsaw are falling into place. Why such hideous malice against us? And, by extension, why such hideous malice against our poor, vulnerable, suggestible, FASD-diagnosed Lizzie? This entire situation reeks of injustice.
Yet, I remain absolutely resolute; I will push on, fighting for Lizzie and, with increasing fervour, campaigning for systemic change to prevent this debacle from happening to any other family.
What has happened to Lizzie and to us is wrong.
It is criminal.
And it is ongoing.
