SAT 15/02/25: Update
- The completed podcast series summary (eight pages) has being sent to key individuals. Recipients include the Grimsby MP, safeguarding leads at Linkage, the Chair of Trustees at Linkage, and the CEO of Focus Adult Social Work CIC.
- It is a deliberate decision to send the podcast summary rather than a formal ‘Executive Summary’. A formal summary can easily be overlooked, whereas the podcast in the public domain highlights institutional failures, particularly by Focus Adult Social Work CIC and Humberside Police.
- Although Linkage College have previously dismissed our concerns, my hope remains that, as an institution for vulnerable individuals, they might take action. Given their duty of care, they should investigate and address the serious safeguarding concerns raised.
Next week, I plan to contact the North East Lincolnshire Safeguarding Adults Board, seeking a meeting. Again, the podcast summary will be shared with them.
The battle for justice is emotionally and mentally exhausting. Nonetheless, despite the hardship and trauma, I remain committed to securing safety and freedom for our daughter.
